We love sports. Plain and simple. And we love producing images that promote it.

Owner and operator Michael Farnell started out volunteering his time with local sporting clubs (Joondalup Wolves Basketball and West Perth Football Club) as he grew and learnt the ropes of sports photography and design. This led to a full-time position with the Perth Wildcats in 2014, where he worked 2 seasons and after experiencing a championship win with the club decided to go out on his own and start Sports Imagery Australia.

Michael is at the forefront of the business, either in the office designing and editing photos, or on the sidelines getting up close and personal to ensure he's capturing the best photographs possible. Together with a small team of Perth freelance photographers Sports Imagery Australia specialise in tournament photography to capture the action and emotion of the event.

We are all about telling a story. Sport isn't just about the action between sirens, it's just as importantly about the emotion, the comradery of a team and the joy and despair experienced at the end of the game. This is what we aim to capture through our imagery.
